chouwazi is an offline random selection tool. Hold your fingers on one device together, and the app randomly chooses one finger from a group of 2 to 10.

How to use it

  1. Each participant holds one finger in the selection area, away from the control buttons.
  2. When at least 2 fingers have joined, keep holding. There is a 0.8-second preparation period, followed by a 3-second countdown.
  3. At the end of the countdown, the app randomly chooses one participating finger. Every participating finger has an equal chance. The result stays on screen.
  4. Lift every finger, then tap “Another round” to start again.

Common questions

Why does nothing happen with just one finger?

At least 2 fingers are needed to start. With one finger, the app displays “One more finger”.

Why did the countdown restart?

Before a result is chosen, adding or removing a participating finger restarts the 0.8-second preparation period and 3-second countdown. This gives anyone who has just joined time to get ready. Moving a finger that is already held down does not restart the timer.

Why can’t I tap “Another round” yet?

Lift every finger from the screen first. This includes fingers beyond the 10-finger limit and fingers placed after the result appeared. The result stays unchanged until you start another round.

Why didn’t a finger join?

Up to 10 fingers can participate in one round. Your device may recognize fewer simultaneous touches. Check its multi-finger gesture settings or try fewer participants. Gestures on the control buttons do not enter the draw.

Why did switching apps reset the round?

An unfinished round is cleared when the app goes into the background or the system cancels touch input. A completed result is kept. Follow the on-screen instructions when you return.

Haptic feedback

Lift every finger, then tap “Haptics on” or “Haptics off” to change the setting. This controls feedback on your device and does not affect the random selection.

Feedback depends on device support and system settings. If you do not feel it, check the app’s haptics switch and your device’s vibration settings.
